Falling Free is about the search for meaning, when life seems to be falling apart. It’s inspired by my journey through chronic illness - how do you open to life, when it’s crumbling all around you? How do we shed our old selves and find the courage to dwell in the space of darkness, until new life bursts through?
I write about my own search for meaning and finding value in myself for who I am, not what I do.
I write about healing through surrender and the extraordinary power of nature to cradle us and lift us back into life.
I write about liberation and joy, and the wild majesty of the soul, set free.
Your Options
I create and share as I feel inspired, so there’s no regular schedule or planned content. I want the journey to feel freeing, for you and for me.
You can access everything for free, but if you are able to support an emerging writer, you can choose a paid subscription for £5 a month to become a patron of my work. You’ll receive the same content, with an extra large dollop of gratitude for the support.
It makes a very big difference to me.
A Bit About Me
I’m in a very slow recovery process from an illness which wiped out my life for almost a decade. My external world dissolved. I took the only path that seemed available, one that somehow beckoned; the internal one.
I dove deep into myself, meeting pockets of past pain, learning to stay present with what is, allowing my old identity to dissolve. I came to centre in an inner place, the luminous space, the true self waiting to unfold within.
I began to learn who I am.
This is knowledge which invites deep self-trust, which calls on our inner wildness, which inspires us to move differently through the world. Calling each other awake to the truth that lies within.
I answer that call by publishing here on Substack as well as offering guided meditations on the meditation app, Insight Timer.
If you are sick of all the external noise, wanting to dive deep within, hearing the call to let the old self go and let new life come in, come and find me.
Let’s fall free together.
“I gather a wild liberation in your words, and a place I have only barely touched”
“made of love, courage and gratitude for being human”
“It’s as though you have made a path with your own journey that helps me find some part of the way through.”
